The kids are getting older now but we are all still in learning mode. Riley, our oldest, is holding our baby granddaughter Lilah. She came home in 9th grade and finished up her high school work mid-term of last year. She is currently on the Dean’s list at her community college and starting her own photography business. Next to her is our oldest son Trapolin who is ten and has been homeschooled his whole life. His interests vary from week-to-week. Right now he is reading the new Rick Riordan book so he is in Greek & Roman mythology mode. Next is our younger daughter, Darian , who spent a few years at home but returned to high school last year. She is a junior carrying honors and AP classes who constantly amazes me by getting straight A’s and not skipping school regardless of my lax attitude towards such issues. Brower is my little guy having just turned seven right before this picture was taken. He’s been homeschooled since birth, also. Right now he is taking a bizarre interest in learning his sight words so we are rolling with that.
- "Home is the one place in all this world where hearts are sure of each other. It is the place of confidence. It is the place where we tear off that mask of guarded and suspicious coldness which the world forces us to wear in self-defense, and where we pour out the unreserved communications of full and confiding hearts." ~Frederick W. Robertson
